New business opportunities for Bayn Europe

Bayn has booked their first order within a completely new area of application for their sweetening technology, with an order from Barentz, Turkey.

After a time of development Bayn Europe AB has now had an order for a sweetening solution for dental products. Not only food and drink are sweetened these days, products for oral hygiene are also sweetened and Bayn has produced a solution for dental products such as toothpaste. Oral hygiene is generally bad in Turkey where close to half of all 35-44-year-olds already have loss of attachment1. Toothpaste that both tastes good and works well is part of the road to good oral hygiene.

“This is a completely new business area for us”, says Mats Källqvist, Marketing Manager at Bayn. “We are very glad that we have been able to develop a product so suitable for this area. Even if the current order is merely for 100 TSEK, it’s an entry point into the Turkish dental market which is worth about 550 MSEK2 and thereby has great potential for sugar replacement solutions.”

The order is in and will be invoiced in Q1.
