BAYN DEVELOPS A CLOUD BASED PLATFORM FOR SUGAR REDUCTION

Bayn Europe AB announces the development of SugarReduced®, a cloud based platform to catalyse food producer’s R&D and accelerate market entry of sugar reduction. An initial prototype has been developed and launch plan is scheduled in 2020.

The platform consists offunctions for data, lab simulation software and e-commerce on a cloud platform, it was designed to connect product developers, marketers, purchasers and all stakeholders within the food and beverage industry. It will provide a one-stop shop for sugar reduction with evidence data and simulation program to shorten the R&D and market launch process. The platform will also serve as an information hub for the public, for discussions centred on “from evidences to action” sugar reduction projects. The common goal is to deal with the global health issues caused by excessive sugar consumption.
