Pandy Protein is a young, innovative corporation that creates products for, among others, health conscious consumers.
The brand had a flying start when it was launched three years ago and is now well known for their tasty snacks whose content differs from that of other products in the supermarkets. Products high in protein, with a low sugar content and few calories attracts Pandy’s health conscious target audience.
Pandy has recently entered into a cooperation with Bayn Europe, where Bayn supports and advices Pandy in the development and testing of their new products.
– We are facing the challenge to create new products in line with market demand for healthier alternatives. The bar is set high: the products must be of a high quality, taste good and have a good nutritional value, says Robert Ingre, co-founder of Pandy Protein in Stockholm.
There are particular challenges when sugar is to be replaced. Just adding sweeteners is not enough.
– First and foremost it’s about creating products that taste good and have a balanced sweetness and healthier fibres. It’s also about choosing a sweetening that doesn’t cause digestive problems. This combination can be tricky, explains Mats Källqvist, Head of Sales and Marketing at Bayn Europe in Stockholm.
– But our Eureba® solutions, which Pandy are currently testing, consist of sweetened fibres and are developed to solve the biggest problems many companies face when it comes to sugar reduction. We confidently foresee a successful cooperation with Pandy in this, says Mats Källqvist.
