Europe’s leading show in natural ingredients, functional foods and health ingredients is on at the moment in Frankfurt. The show has more than 10,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors. Bayn is there to present the company and to network.
Consumer demands have progressed significantly during the last years. Consumers are looking for functional foods to meet their nutritional challenges. Sugar reduction is one of the most important demands to create healthier foods to lower the risk of obesity and diabetes. Bayn Europe meets these demands with their products developed with ingredients from natural sources. They also fulfil the end-consumer’s need for healthy products which don’t compromise on taste and texture.
“The first day of the show has been incredible with visitors who come mostly from Europe but also from Israel, China and Indonesia”, says Patrik Edström, CEO at Bayn. “The interest from food and beverage manufacturers and ingredient suppliers is very big and it’s great to see that so many of our visitors are so well versed in the subject of sugar reduction.”
Bayn’s R&D Manager Dr. Roger Aidoo, who is also present at the show, finds that the great interest has well surpassed Bayn’s expectations. “This really proves that sugar reduction is a strong trend, and that our sugar replacers which focus on the taste experience, are just right for the current market demands. Bayn has really had a great response to their products”, says Dr. Aidoo.
